Owen has always been a smiley kid, especially right after he starts falling asleep. We usually don’t have the video camera handy to catch it but the other day I was wiggling him a little and he was loving it! He was smiling more before we got the camera out but we did manage to record a little bit of it!

This is a day late, but I just wanted to take a second to tell my husband happy anniversary!  Our lives have recently changed dramatically with the addition of Owen to the family.  Normally we do something really fun for our anniversary to celebrate the time we have had together.  But this year our anniversary came and went almost as if it was just another day.  But I just wanted to let Bernd know how much I love and appreciate him.  I love you honey!  Thank you for an amazing 3 years!

I realize this is a couple weeks late but I still wanted to post it.  Owen was given a name and a blessing by his Dad on July 26th.  He was only 1 week old!  We had to do it quickly before Grandma & Grandpa had to go home and before his other Grandpa had to leave town for 2 weeks for work.  Thank you to all of those family members and friends that were able to come support us on such short notice.  We didn’t get a big group picture of everyone that came like I wanted to, but we really appreciate everyone coming and missed those that couldn’t make it.

Our friend Jenny did a photo shoot for Owen about a week ago, he was such a good sport! He let her take photos of him for nearly 2 hours before deciding he was done! We haven’t seen all of the pictures yet, but she posted some on her blog and I’m sure the others are going to be great!
