I had a little problem with my laptop when I got back from Amsterdam. I had been traveling for about 25 hours and landed around 11pm in Salt Lake airport. I flew back with Matt and his brother gave me a ride to my mother-in-law’s house in Centerville on their way up to Layton. When I got to our Blazer at my mother-in-law’s house I took my luggage out of Matt’s brother’s car and set it behind our Blazer and then ran in to get the keys and came back out and just jumped in the car. I forgot my luggage was there and backed over it. I noticed it after only one tire had gone over it so I guess it could have been worse. My luggage got a little beat up and my laptop was even worse. I don’t think I actually drove over my laptop, I think my large suitcase just fell on it and smashed it a little. My laptop ended up with a broken screen and bent the bottom case a little bit. Functionally everything worked great on it except for my screen. It ended up costing me around $917 to have it fixed, but it is all taken care of. It was a little dramatic to get it fixed because the place I took it to received two bad LCDs from their supplier before they finally got a good one. It is good to have it all running well again!
